Having performed brilliantly bowling and in the field to restrict Horton to a low total we were bowled out cheaply. To our credit were were on course for a win had it not been for 2 of their players scoring their runs and taking wickets.

Congratulations to all the boys playing in their first Under 13 game: Saif Ali, James Barritt, Freddie Grumi, Cameron Hanna, James Haycock, Thomas Kirk, Oscar Morris.

Special mention should go to:

  • Freddie Gilbert for an outstanding catch and very solid performance as WK for the day;
  • Thomas Kirk for a brilliant 4 over bowling spell.
  • James Barritt for great bowling and being brave enough to open the batting.
