| Match Report | Monday May 22nd , Match started 6pm Saints won toss and batted Saints scored 156-6 wickets in 20 overs Saints innings got off to a flyer scoring over 100 runs off the first 10 overs mainly due to too much short pitched and legside bowling. A good fightback by all saw only just over 50 runs from the final 10 overs with highlight being Jasper Cooper with 3-14 (4 overs) and George Patten 3-23 (4 overs). Brixworth replied scoring 63 for 3 wickets off 20 overs, A good performance considering some accurate bowling by Saints. The highlight being 30 no and retired by George Patten. Areas to work on: Bowling length and Bowling to your field, this means if you bowl outside off stump having fielders in relevant positions, likewise if you bowl straight or on leg stump you adjust field accordingly. Positives : As mentioned above, good team spirit and not giving up meant the 2nd half of Saints innings was restricted. Batting, much better than last outing meant we doubled the runs we scored, possibly need to work on backing up by non striker to ensure any possibility of runs are taken Thanks to all for attending especially Chris for scoring both innings.
